Last evening, we decided to visit Nobu in London. Nobu in London is named after Nobuyuki "Nobu" Matsuhisa, a celebrity chef, known for his fusion of traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients. The signature dish in Nobu is black cod in miso.
While the Matsuhisa Restaurants (also commonly referred to as "Nobu") in Beverly Hills, Aspen, Athens and Mykonos are privately owned by the Matsuhisa family, Nobu restaurants are co-owned by Nobu, Robert De Niro, Meir Teper and Richie Notar. Thus, the Nobu in London is partly owned by the famous celebrity chef and his partners.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere: very elegant and the people were generally stylish and chic. Here is a snapshot of my night.
