How to Slim Your Inner Thighs

Many women store excess fat in their thighs. In the summer, pieces like shorts and swimsuits make your inner thighs very apparent. Moreover, summer heat makes everyone's legs expand and having inner thighs bump against one another can be very uncomfortable!




So, how do we solve this? How do we trim our inner thighs?

Inspiration: Slim Inner Thighs 
Please note, this is NOT medical advice but my personal opinions derived after preliminary research and after my own exercise experience!  

Here Are 5 Tips on How to Slim Your Inner Thighs:

1. Wide Stance Squat: spread your legs so your toes point out and are slight more out than your shoulders. Slowly lower your bottom to a squat position. Do 3 sets of 15 wide stance squats.

2.  First Position Plie Squat: Your heels are touching and your toes are turned slightly out. Rise up on your toes and keep your heels touching. Do your best not to loose your balance; if you are loosing your balance hold on to something (for e.g., see the photo below). Bend your knees into a half squat and go back up. Do 3 sets of 15.

3. Squat with a Ball (or a Knotted Beach Towel): Stand up straight. Place a rubber ball/knotted beach towel between your legs (just above your knees). Squeeze the ball/knotted beach towel and lower into a squat position. Do 3 sets of 15.

4. Change Your Diet! Make sure to throw out fatty and non-nutritional foods like white bread, french fries, and brownies. Eat a lot of veggies, fruits and lean meats (e.g., chicken) to give you energy for the workout. Perhaps, needless to say but do not starve yourself!


5. Cardio Workout: To have an effective exercise, you need to come full circle. Thus, on top of the inner thigh exercises, do some kind of a cardio workout, e.g., running, stairmaster or an elliptical.
