Machu Picchu

It has always been a dream of mine to visit Machu Picchu, where the ruins of one of the oldest civilizations on Earth lie. Machu Picchu is located in the Cusco region of Peru. Machu Picchu was built around 1450 at the height of Inca Empire. Most archeologist believe that the sit was built as an estate for the Inca emperor  Pachachuti. It was abandoned around 1572 as a result of the Spanish conquest. The site is located 2,450 meters above the sea level and situated on a mountain ridge above Urubamba Valley. Currently, it is the most familiar icon of the Inca civilization. What do you think, would you love to see the remnants of this ancient civilization?

Siempre ha sido un sueño para mi, visitar el Machu Picchu, donde restan las ruinas de las civilizaciones más antiguas de la Tierra.Machu Picchu se encuentra en Cusco una región de Perú. Machu Picchu fue construido alrededor de 1450 en la cumbre de Imperio Inca. La mayoría de arqueólogos creen que fue construido como una finca para el emperador inca. Fue abandonada alrededor de 1572, como resultado de la conquista española. Se encuentra a 2.450 metros sobre el nivel del mar y situado en una montaña por encima de Urubamba Valley. En la actualidad, es el icono más conocido de la civilización Inca.
