Elizabeth Taylor has been and remains one of the utmost adored American icons. She starred in the move A Place in the Sun in the 1950s with the handsome Montgomery Cliff. The film is based on a 1925 novel: American Tragedy. The movie/novel tells a story of a working class young man, who is also a nephew of a wealthy industrialist. While working for his wealthy uncle, he becomes entangled with two women: one working in a factory and the other a socialite. I will not say more since this classic is a must (it won 6 Academy Awards and the first ever Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Drama).
Elizabeth Taylor ha sido y sigue siendo uno de los iconos americanos más queridos. Ella protagonizó A Place in the Sun , en la década de 1950 con el apuesto Cliff Montgomery. La película está basada en una novela de 1925: American Tragedy. La película cuenta la historia de un hombre joven de clase trabajadora, que es sobrino de un rico. Mientras trabajaba para su tío rico, él se enamora con dos mujeres: una trabajadora de una fábrica y la otra es mujer de la alta sociedad. No voy a decir más ya que tenéis que ver este clásico (ganó 6 premios de la Academia y el Globo de Oro por primera vez al mejor drama cinematográfico).
