Dear fashionistas,
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. For about four years, I have been a professional makeup artist; I have worked for El Corte Inglés in Madird, where I had the opportunity to become familiar with countless of makeup brands. Now, my professional engagements include doing makeup for individuals attending parties, weddings, and for professional photo shoots. In the following paragraphs, I describe seven steps in order to attain a glamorous look for a night out in town or a party with friends.

In the following paragraphs, I describe seven steps in order to attain a glamorous look for a night out in town or a party with friends.
Makeup Tips. Step 1. MOISTURIZE:
The most important factor for having great makeup is having slept for at least eight hours! The other important factor is having your skin well hydrated from the neck up to the end of your forehead. Moreover, in order to reduce dark circles, you must moisture the area everyday. Additionally, your makeup will look brighter if the dark circles are adequately moisturized.

Makeup Tips. Step 2: CONCEALERS & FOUNDATION
Step 2 consists of covering dark circles, skin imperfections and redness. First note, concealers do not just come in flesh tones. Using yellow, purple and green concealers can help you even out your skin. Therefore, use a yellow concealer for dark eye circles and for other skin imperfections. Use a purple concealer to cover blemishes on the skin. Use a green concealer to get rid of unwanted redness, which may especially be applicable to smokers.
Afterwards, apply a foundation all over your face, which should be a notch lower than the color of your skin. Apply the foundation by patting it over your skin rather than smearing it over your face. The technique of applying foundation depends on its composition, i.e. liquid, creamy or compact. For a liquid foundation, which is an exception, you always have to apply the foundation over your neck, neckline, and ears. Wait for the skin to absorb the makeup.

Makeup Tips Step 3 SMOKEY EYES:
With a brown pencil, mark the eye socket well and delineate the eyelid, i.e. from the eyelashes to the eye socket. Extend the line that delineates the upper eyelid where the eyebrow ends. Then extend the line that delineates the eyelid until it meets the former basin. Shade-in the dark grey from the outside to the inside by drawing a slight mark. Blur toward the inner tear without reaching it. With a brown eyeliner pencil, draw a line all the way across your eyelid and do the same beneath your bottom eye lashes. The amount of eyeliner can intensify your eyeshadow.
With the eyeshadow color "lime," color the tear and the upper eyelid area and blend-in the gray shade with your skin so that there is only a soft color difference. Then, I will add the color "champagne" on the already "lime" colored areas underneath the arch of the eyebrow.
Makeup Tips Step 4 EYEBROWS:
Use a fine brush to shape your eye brows. Use a matte color, which is very similar to your hair color, with the fine brush. You may want to apply vaseline as a primer before applying the eyeliner. The fine brush accompanied with a matte color helps to make your eyebrows more dense and cover areas where the hair is missing. If your eyebrows are short, extend them.

Makeup Tips Step 5 BRONZER & HIGHLIGHTER:
Use a bronzer to give your skin a glow. Apply more bronzer below the cheekbones to create a shadow. Afterwards, highlight your cheekbones. Then, put blush on your cheekbones. Remember to blend in very well to avoid unevenness.

Makeup Tips Step 6 LIPLINER & LIPSTICK/LIPGLOSS:
Use a lipliner to outline your lips; the lipliner must be the color of your lipstick/lipgloss. use the "magic cube" before applying the lipstick. I recommend lightly colored lipgloss or no lipgloss since the eye make up is intense.

Makeup Tips Step 7 EYELASH CURLER & MASCARA:
Lastly, curl your eye lashes. Before curling your eyelashes, hydrate them with a special product made for hydration of eyelashes. Then, apply the mascara that best suits your type of lashes.

Makeup Tips: Steps 6 and 7 can be one before the other and vice versa.
