Every winter, the dark tones (e.g. black, brown, gray, etc.) of clothes weight down on my mood. Consequently, I decided to do a little research for the particular colors that could pass muster in winter. Many of you may be thinking, my tan has faded and I am better stick to the dark colors. I suggest that you put on a little self-tanner just enough to give you a glow and then pick out the right colors for your complexion, hair and eye color and get out the door feeling livelier than hiding in that oversized black sweater. I researched celebrities like Claudia Schiffer, the Olsen twins, Rosie Huntington Whitley, and Blake Lively for cues. Also, designers like Chanel and Luis Vuitton had amazing winter colors in their current winter collection. For "Winter in Color" ideas, please see the photos below.
