I remember first seeing Annette Joanne Funicello while watching a documentary on Disney. She was one of the original Micky Mouse Club girls and I so wanted to be just like her and meet Mr. Walt Disney! Disney station was pretty much all I watched during this time and "Mousketeers" ruled my world! After becoming a household name in Disney, Annette transitioned into a successful career as a pop singer and later become a well known American actress. I am sad to report to you Fashionistas that this amazing woman has passed away yesterday. She died of complications with Multiple Scelrosis, an illness that she fought for many years. I wish to dedicate this post to all her fans and other "Mousketeers"!
Annette Joanne Funicello is also known as one of the 60s teen idols. She starred in the series Beach Party and was a pop singer during this time. Some of her best known hits include "Tall Paul", "First Name Initial", "O Dio Mio", "Train of Love" and more. Below are some of the best TV moments of this incredible 60s icon! Annette you will be missed!
