When in Rome, do as the Romans. I decided to apply this concept and go out for an afternoon tea in London. We chose Chesterfield Hotel in Mayfair as I was told that I could have the premium first-time afternoon tea experience there. The variety of teas was abundant, and I chose to try the Moroccan mint tea.
Later I found out that afternoon tea, which is also referred to as "low tea," is akin to a snack that is eaten between 4pm and 6pm. Afternoon tea originated amongst the wealthy and the aristocracy in England in the 1840s.
Below are my photos of afternoon tea in Chesterfield Hotel in Mayfair and other photos of afternoon tea for your inspiration. What do you think of this small English ritual? Xo.
