Chinese fashion model sensation is a 72 year-old grandfather: Liu Xianping.
Mr. Xianping’s granddaughter designs clothes for teenage girls; she decided to dress up her grandfather in her latest designs. The shots became viral overnight. The grandfather’s long slender legs have become the envy of women all over China. A fan has compared Liu to Karl Lagerfeld.
China Newsweek (the Daily Mail translated) did an interview with the grandfather.
“Why [is it] unacceptable for someone like me to wear women’s clothes? Modeling for the store is helping my granddaughter and I have nothing to lose. We were very happy on the day of the shooting. I’m very old and all that I care about is to be happy.”
