We had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful J & J heiress, Jazz Johnson, and her uncle, an Emmy-nominated film producer, Dirk Wittenborn over a cup of coffee at a plush hotel lounge on the Upper East Side. We were intrigued by their recent project—The Social Climber’s Bible: A Book of Manners, Practical Tips, and Spiritual Advice for the Upwardly Mobile, which through humour and scandalous tales opens-up the conversation about a serious topic—social climbing—or crawling your way to the top. 

When we met Jazz, she encapsulated the Gossip Girl meets Carey Bradshaw persona. She grew-up attending debutante balls with society boys, like Gossip Girl’s Serena van der Woodsen, and then she is also like Sex and the City’s witty author Carrie Bradshaw.  Jazz has always had the best of both worlds: she is a well-known heiress of the Johnson & Johnson fortune, has travelled all over the world, and attended the most exclusive parties. Despite her posh upbringing and true jet-set experience, she caught us by surprise: Jazz maintains her feet firm on the ground: she is eloquent, intelligent (graduate of Barnard college) and no-nonsense kind of girl.

The first time I saw Helena Sopar was in the pages of American Marie Claire. I couldn't take my eyes of the beautiful editorial and this gorgeous girl; I quickly learned she was from Croatia and was not surprised when I saw the speed in which she was taking over the fashion world. Helena and I met in London while she was there for a shoot and immediately I was stricken with her ambition, intelligence, humility, and talent.

Neven Ciganovic for Club Fashionista: EXCLUSIVE Interview

The first time I spotted Neven Ciganovic was in a magazine, where he was at a party with countless of celebrities and designers. He effortlessly stood out because he did not look like anyone else at the soirée. 

I later found out that Neven was the first celebrity stylist in Croatia; his career began in the 1990s when the name fashion stylist had not yet been coined. As a stylist, celebrities and fashion designers always surround him, and people religiously follow him on the red carpet and his globe trotting escapades.

Later, I followed Neven’s TV show when I visited Croatia, and I loved it! He has unbelievable charisma, is exceptionally witty and entertaining.  His sense of style is always impeccable; and his varying looks always pleasantly surprised me. Neven does not follow trends; he creates them!

Zorannah: Rock Princess of Belgrade

Blogging in Southeastern Europe is increasing as we speak, trendsetters are making statements with their everyday outfits, revealing their beauty secrets and everything else related to the world of beauty, fashion and luxury. We have been tracking a large number of bloggers through their daily fashion diaries. Finally, I spotted an outrageously beautiful blond, who is quite the diva and a local celebrity with over 51,000 fans on Facebook. She was educated in Milan, Italy (the fashion Accademia del Lusso School of Fashion) and currently resides in Belgrade Serbia. Her name is Zorana Jovanovic, and she is the proud owner of her spectacular blog called Zorannah's Fashion Corner. She goes by the pen name Zorannah.

Her hair is stunning with its fullness, shine and curls; her closet is full of designer items, and she has a multitude of fun videoclips (scroll down to see). So, we decided to contact her on behalf of Club Fashionista and exchange a friendly chat. Her street-style is simply irresistible as she shows it off in cosmopolitan cities around the world.

I am sure that after watching the cult TV series Sex and the City, you may have been envious--admit it at least a little bit! You may have thought that the life of Carrie Bradshaw and the rest of her crew was a tad bit unrealistic. For example, they have very successful careers; are invited to the "it" fashion shows, events and parties in the big apple; are overwhelmed with phone calls from cute and interesting men; and always wore the super expensive designer clothes and shoes. I must admit, I was a tiny bit envious! 

Recently, I met a lady who is living in real life her Sex and the City fairytale; her name is Martina Saira. She is the director of telecommunications for the SEE, she writes a fashion column for a lifestyle magazine, and is happily married. In sum, Martina is successful, fabulous and beautiful! Immediately, I demanded an interview; thus, here you have it, an exclusive interview with a local celebrity Martina Saira for Club Fashionista!

This striking woman was celebrating with her group of friends looking “oh so effortlessly gorgeous” and radiating with positive energy. Her beauty is one of those rare types that you don’t see much in the modeling world. She is a brunette with deep brown hair, paleish skin, and piercing green eyes.  Her style is also unique in the sense that she does not look like an ordinary model: she combines both casual/formal pieces and makes them look amazingly chic. Sarah’s beauty and unique personality has not gone unnoticed in the fashion industry. She has just become the face of Dolce & Gabanna’s new swimwear line. Sarah has also been featured in Maxim magazine and has been the face of many campaigns  throughout Europe.
