Pillow Talk

By Elma B.

Pillow talk is defined by the Merriam-Webster as "an intimate conversation between lovers in bed." Colloquially, pillow talk is often considered polite and romantic.

One of my favorite movies is the 1959 classic Hollywood movie Pillow Talk. Pillow Talk is a romantic comedy that stars Rock Hudson and Doris Day. Doris Day (in the film Jan Morrow) is a successful interior designer who lives alone in New York City. Since the telephone company is in development, she has to use a party line.  She shares with Rock Hudson (in the film Brad Allen), who is talented Broadway composer and a playboy. The two develop a feud over the party line...want to know more? Watch the movie!

The film was very relaxing. The interior design and the fashion are classics and elegant. The characters are witty and charming. The movie is an absolute must with girlfriends or on your own before falling asleep.
