Blake Lively starred as a love interest of two best friends, who are marijuana growers living in Long Beach, California, in the American crime thriller film Savages. Savages was directed by Oliver Stone and is based on the novel Savages by Don Winslow. The cast is made of A list actors like Benicio del Toro, Salma Hayek and John Travolta.
Blake Lively plays a California beach girl. Her character is very different than that on Gossip Girl, i.e. part of a powerful family, a socialite and always wearing the latest trends of top-designers.
