If you didn’t know, red is an emotionally intensive color because it enhances human metabolism, accelerates respiration and raises blood pressure. It has a very high rate of visibility, which is why the stop signs are red, and fire-fighting equipment. In the heraldry, red is used to denote courage. Red fruits and vegetables and even red wine can reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease and slow the aging process: pomegranate, strawberries, raspberries, beets, red peppers, red apples, cherries and radishes.
