I love waking up to my morning smoothie. It is refreshing, healthy, delicious, simple, and so fun to be able to come up with different creations all the time! What’s great is that if you combine the right ingredients you can create a delicioius meal or snack containing all your necessary nutrients, such as: fat, fiber, protein, and all your essential vitamins and minerals.
Whether you're already an expert at making smoothies or you've never tried one before, here are my Top 5 Super Food Smoothie recipes and why they are fabulous!
1. Silky green
Ingredients
½ cup almond or coconut milk
a handful of kale
banana
½ avocado
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
½ cucumber
This smoothie is filling, creamy and full of amazing benefits. It will satisfy your cravings for something sweet and delicious while leaving you feeling full and satisfied. It is packed with potassium, protein, omega 3, omega 6, iron, and vitamins. This is the best smoothie to start off the day!
2. Goji Goodness
Ingredients
½ cup coconut milk
3-4 strawberries
6-7 raspberries
1/2 banana
1 handful of goji berries
Directions: Remove the stems, wash your berries, put all ingredients together and blend!

1 teaspoon raw cacao powder
1 banana
3-4 dates
1/2 avocado
a handful of mint leaves
spinach
This smoothie is so tasty that it’s hard to imagine how healthy it actually is for you. This glass of green goodness tastes like creamy mint chocolate chip ice cream, minus the guilt. It’s ingredients help to energize while keeping you focused, full, and refreshed.
4. Pineapple Aloha
Ingredients
1 frozen mango
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 coconut milk
¾ cup shredded coconut
a dash of freshly grated ginger (optional)
