Best Sandals for the Season--Our Top Picks

By Sarah Baker

Miu Miu, Jimmy Choo, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Louboutin, and Chanel are the big names in shoes. Currently, if not very soon, our shoe of choice is the sandal. Wedge, platform, heel, and flats make up the collections from the top designers. I have put together a list the styles in each type of sandal that are popular and super cute from with these designers. I have also included the extras added to different shoes to make them different as well as the colors that are big this season.

1. Wedge and Platform

Cork, sling back, strappy, block wedge, crossover straps, and bling embellishments.

Giuseppe Zanotti Colorblock demi-wedge platform sandals in fluorescent yellow/pink/turquoise patent leather with black trim.

2. Heels

Sling back, Mary Jane, caged, strappy, skinny mid heel, braided rope, ankle straps, block heel, crossover straps, wooden heels, zip back, ankle boots, lace-up ankle boots, gladiator, and twisty strap.

Prada Spring/Summer 2014
Fashionistas on a Budget

All of the shoes are indeed very cute and stylish, however, we may not all be able to spend the money to get an amazing pair of Jimmy Choos. Are you on a tighter budget? Then you should check out Top Shop and Zara. They have very similar shoes to the designers for a fraction of the cost. My current favorite shoe site is JustFab.com. They have the shoe style, color, design, that you are looking for at an inexpensive price. For just $39.95, you can get just about any shoe and style you are looking for, get it shipped to you for free, and have no hassle returns and exchanges. In order to get this fabulous price, you do have to become a VIP, however, it is simple and free to do so. If you chose not to become a VIP, you can still shop on the site, the shoes are just a little more expensive, but not by that much and still cheaper than the designers.

It’s been a long winter, Fashionsitas, give your toes a little pampering with a pedicure, pick out your perfect style and color and let your toes be free!

  3. Solan designers won't make shoes for poor people who can't buy them they make them for people who can,.... I mean it's obvious... And beauty tips are essentially for ugly people, Wonder why they never follow them.
