Rain Boots

This post should be titled "boots for the melting snow" and the idea is that now that the five feet plus of snow is melting, there are ponds (not puddles) of water on the road that I cannot just skip over. Furthermore, rain boots are also an excellent guard against the cold; most rain boots are made from rubber and this material keeps my feet extra toasty. 

Rain boots go equally well with jeans as they do with skirts and shorts. I wore mine with black shorts, tights, and a long wool coat. I also love how rain boots look with short jean shorts (think Kate Moss in Glastonbury), but would have to put off that outfit until warmer days arrive. My pick for some trendy rain boots: Hunter, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Burberry.
