Thus far, the oldest discovered information on the use of flowers at weddings was 400 years ago. Wreaths made ​​out of flowers and young leaves of grass have been worn as a wedding crown because of the belief in their protective effect and their power to drive away evil spirits. Different epochs brought different styles of flower arranging.

Today, it is widely believed that when the bride exits from the wedding ceremony, the bride "randomly" throws the bridal bouquet, and the one that catches it will be the next to be married.

To find out what bridal bouquets were "in" this season, we asked the staff Flower Studio "Nerina" in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Here is what we found out. 

The classic bridal bouquet is still not out of style but modern design means that you are out there to search for something new. This season's most wanted bridal bouquets are: long, cascading wedding bouquets; "retro" bouquets with greenery; bouquets decorated with various pearls and lace ribbons; bouquets reminiscent of freshly cut field flowers (folk version); and minimalist bouquets consisting of a single flower.

Klasičan bidermajer je kod nas još aktuelan, ali savremeni dizajn podrazumjeva i traganje za nečim novim. Ove sezone najtraženiji su: izduženi, kaskadni vjenčani buketi, ali i oni koji se nose kao torbica preko ruke, “retro” buketi sa zelenilom, ukrašeni raznim biserima i čipkanim tračicama, buketi koji podsjećaju na tek ubrano poljsko cvijeće (etno varijanta) ili minimalistički koji se sastoje samo od jednog cvijeta.
