Introduction to Chicago: Strolling on Michigan Avenue

By Elma B.

One of my favorite cities in the United States is undoubtedly Chicago: it is a less hectic version of New York City and also has a very cosmopolitan vibe with its international cultural scene and not to mention its fabulous shopping. Very recently, Tom Ford opened its shop and Bottega Veneta store expanded to three floors! I will do a detailed post on shopping in Chicago so stay tuned!

This weekend, we strolled around Michigan Avenue, which is a perfect street for shopping (luxury and high street). Travel tip: visit Argo Tea Cafe, and try one of  its many healthy signature teas. Also, they have mini whole grain sandwiches, which is a great way to control the portions you consume.

In the photos below, I layered white necklaces and wore vintage denim shorts, a sheer top, Louis Vuitton speedy, Tory Burch wedges, Giorgio Armani sunnies, and KIKO lipstick and green eyeshadow. I will provide you with a more comprehensive guide of Chicago so stay tuned to see my adventures in the windy city. Xoxo!
