Costa Rica--a paradise for botanists because of the spectacular array of tropical flowers. The gardens around the resorts were like tropical gardens; I could spot coconut palm trees and flowers whose colors ranged from bright pink to bright yellow. What exactly did I see?
Although I am not a biologist, I throughly enjoyed the tropical garden at our resort. The abundance of rain made it very easy for the gorgeous red shrubs, red flowers, palm trees and stubby palm trees to thrive. Although the weather is fairly hot during the afternoon, one could really enjoy the tropical garden during the morning hours while having coffee and croissants on the outdoor patio.
