At the end of May, Oscar de la Renta presented his Resort collection in New York. As usual, the line outlines a silhouette of a woman in the foreground; in addition, Oscar de la Renta added a hint of retro to the classic dress outlining the contours of a woman's body. Like last season's patterns: peplum and floral motifs remain.
The Resort collection is made of balloon-like skirts, slim waists, and large flowers woven onto plaid; the aforementioned features make this collection different. Oscar de la Renta je krajem maja u New Yorku predstavio svoju Resort kolekciju. Kao i obično, silueta žene je u prvom planu, no ovoga puta sa retro prizvukom. Peplum se, kao i prethodne sezone, i dalje nalazi na haljinama, a ne nedostaje ni cvijetnih motiva. Balon suknje, čvrsti taft, lepršava organza i cvijeće protkano na karo uzorku čine ovu kolekciju drugačijom, no crveni ruž uz uredni konjski rep na modelima daju dašak damskog stila i odaju da je riječ o kolekciji iz modne kuće Oscara de la Rente. Sada još preostaje da se odlučite hoćete li uskočiti u sivu, crnu ili žutu haljinu posutu cvijećem?
