The spotlight was brightly
shining on Brad Pitt’s outlandish good looks in Thelma & Louise, which was
nominated for six academy awards, in the very early 1990s. Brad Pitt portrayed
a young cowboy (and a thief, who has broken parole) in Oklahoma. The movie has
been a huge success in the U.S. and especially abroad because of its portrayal
of the classical Southwest with cars like Ford Thunderbirds, cowboy hats, middle
of nowhere motels, and classic 90s high-waist jeans. For details, please see
