We stayed about two blocks from the Times Square. The Times Square area is filled with tourists. Thus, for the going out hotspots, we had to take a cab to the Meat Packing District. There, one can find trendy spots like the Standard Hotel (has an amazing brunch and a club with a jacuzzi on the rooftop), Bagatelle (has a delicious brunch accompanied by the daytime after-party), and Provacateur (has very trendy models and, in general, beautiful people). Another great restaurant we dined at Friday night was the Waverly Inn at the Greenwich Village. There, we sat right next to the boho princess herself, Sienna Miller and her boyfriend Tom Surridge.
On Sunday, we ate brunch at Mercer's kitchen and saw there the out-of-the-world talented Vera Wang (as her shop is right across the street). After brunch, we shopped at SoHo. I bought a gorgeous Vita Fede gold-plated and leather bracelet from Intermix (see the photo below). For a bit of magic and a trip down the childhood memory lane, we stopped by the famous toy store Schwartz. Before leaving NYC, we dined at Quality Meats in Midtown. For the details, please see all of the photos below.
