Top 4 Reasons to Exercise in the Morning

Exercising in the morning has many benefits. Here are four reasons why you should not wait until the evening to complete your workout:

1. Exercising in the morning wakes up your brain, clears your mind, and helps you organize your thoughts. I find that I am able to focus on work/study and remember more after a morning jog.



2. If you get it done first thing, then you won't have to worry about trying to squeeze it in to your schedule later. Studies have also shown morning exercisers are more consistent.

3. Morning workouts will encourage you to eat breakfast, which has been proven to boost your metabolism, which helps to burn calories.



4. 30 minutes of jogging will burn around 300 calories so you will not feel as guilty if you reach for a small desert later.
